For the past eight years, Ben has served on Milford’s Board of Aldermen and has asked the hard questions on municipal issues and fought for lower taxes throughout the budget process. During his tenure as Chairman of the Board, he expanded the city’s senior tax relief program, provided the resources necessary for excellent schools, and delivered the first tax cut in Milford’s history

Latest News: The Milford Mirror Endorses Blake
On Wednesday, November 2nd, Milford's beloved hometown newspaper, The Milford Mirror, endorsed Ben Blake's candidacy for the Mayor of Milford.
Citing Blake's considerable "leadership experience", the Milford Mirror made mention of Ben's growth as a leader and his ability to seek expertise in making decisions.
The Mirror explained, "He loves the community, and certainly will do the best he can for Milford, relying on his education, intelligence, experience and the lessons he’s learned while making decisions as an alderman — decisions similar to those a mayor will be asked to make on a daily basis.
